By the end of May, the NVAF Technical Committee Foundation Rigs (TCF) gathered at Goes in a new composition. The committee said goodbye to Dick Spaargaren from Vermeer Machine Techniek, who had earlier been replaced by Peter van Steensel also from Vermeer.
Jan van de Coterlet from Sterk Heiwerken Drachten and Ruud van ’t Hek from Gebr. van ’t Hek at Zuidoostbeemster joined the group.
At this stage, the committee is working on the revision of the Dutch Certification Scheme on the Approval of Foundation Rigs and the coming revision and amalgamation of the European machine standards EN 791 (Drill Rigs - Safety) and EN 996 (Piling Rigs - Safety).
De committee is broadly composed by representatives from the users (mainly NVAF Members), certification bodies, foundation equipment suppliers and manufacturers, as well as clients and consultancies.
After the meeting a technical roundtrip was made into the IHC Fundex Equipment bv production plant at Goes.
